Zoozen Access Pro Tool Kit V2 *Review*

In this review we will take a look at the Zoozen Access Pro Tool Kit V2. I would like to thank Zoozen for providing this set for the review.

This is a fairly powerful little toolkit for the videogame console modder in us all, let's take a look at what's included:

1pc Easy grip screwdriver handle
1pc Magnetic Tweezers
1pc "OneSnap" tool for opening Xbox 360
1pc Linehead nut setter (small size)
1pc Linehead nut setter (large size)
1pc Flathead bit, Long
2pcs Torx Size 6, Tamper Resistant
2pcs Torx Size 8, Tamper Resistant
2pcs Torx Size 10, Tamper Resistant
2pcs Torx Size 15, Tamper Resistant
2pcs Torx Size 20, Tamper Resistant
2pcs Hex Size .05
2pcs Triwing Bit
2pcs Phillips #000
2pcs Phillips #0
2pcs Phillips #1
2pcs Slotted 7/64

Take note of the doubles provided for most of the bits. This is particularly handy if one gets lost or damaged. There's a bit for just about every console available, with the exception of some older systems. This tool kit includes the tools you need for the:

· Microsoft Products, including: Original Xbox, Xbox 360 and accessories like the Xbox 360 wired controller, and the Xbox 360 wireless controller. Special tools: the OneSnap, the only one-piece Xbox 360 case separator, and a special long neck tamper resistant Torx bit.

· Nintendo Products, including: the Nintendo Wii, GameCube, GBA, DS, DS Lite, and most accessories like Nintendo Cartridges, Gamecube controllers, and power supplies. Special Tools: Triwing bits in two sizes and two sizes of rare Linehead Nut Setters in hardened steel. Also has the correct tools for most of the retired Nintendo game machines (those not currently for sale in the marketplace).

· Sony Products, including: PS3, PS2, PStwo, and PSP and many accessories (for example: Sony controllers).

First off lets look at the handle. Nice rubber grip, not hard plastic like others of it's kind and a magnetic tip to hold the bits nice and tight.

One of my favorite tools included in this kit is the tiny pointed tweezers. These are your best friend if you are dealing with tiny screws or components like LEDs, etc.

Now lets get down to business by trying out the Tri-wing bit on a Nintendo Wii. If you want to open up your Wii, you will have to have one of these, and you can't always pick one of these up at your local hardware store, not at mine at least. The bit fits perfectly into the oddly shaped screw and has a pretty good grip while turning. I was able to remove all the screws with ease.

Now it's time to go back in time a few decades. I've had this (and a few others) NES cartridge sitting around forever. It has always bothered me that there was something rattling around inside the casing, and the game just wouldn't play right half the time.

I would have to go inside to find the culprit and the Access Pro kit was just what I needed to get the job done. As you can see from the pictures below, the safety screws were no match for this tool kit.

Conclusion:

The toolkit was more than adequate for opening just about every console on the market, especially the latest ones like Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii. If you are a videogame console enthusiast and you find yourself opening up your system on a regular basis, this is a MUST HAVE for you. The retail price is about $15 so you can't really go wrong with this kit.
